Seeland Polar Max Jacket
The Polar Max is Seeland’s absolute warmest hunting jacket. The jacket is waterproof and has a WindBeater membrane, in addition to 250 gram wadding, which is the thickest available. It also features microfleece inside the jacket and the hood to retain warmth. The jacket features the groundbreaking ThinsulateTM technology, which uses an insulating membrane consisting of fine microfibres that work together to retain warm air molecules. Once the body has warmed up, the Thinsulate helps maintain the temperature, while allowing any moisture to wick through its outer membrane. Areas of the jacket most subject to wear are reinforced for extra robustness. The lower part of the jacket is made from Oxford nylon, which is water-repellent. It also has a number of handy pockets: a radio pocket, a fleece-lined handwarmer, an inside pocket and two large front pockets with quick load straps and a pocket behind the front pockets, typically used to rest your shooting arm in. Other features include a two-way zip and press studs, adjustable hood, wrists and hem, and soft storm-cuffs, with thumbholes, to block out the wind.
