Please note: these boots are ideal for hunting, game stalking and similar country pursuits where standing for prolonged periods of time in damp ground is likely. They are not suitable for trekking, fell walking, climbing, gardening or any activity where there will be a continuous bend of the foot. This is due to the tough band enclosing the base which does not allow the boot to flex in the way needed for such activities.
Please note also: there is a warranty on these boots which is for manufacturers defects. This does not include wear and tear or issues caused due to lack of care of the leather. The leather should be cleaned so as not to allow too much build up of mud and should be treated regularly with appropriate treatments. Please do not dry the boots with excessive heat. Wet and damp leather when exposed to excessive heat can cause irreversible damage and cause the leather to crack. This is not a warranty claim.
