Ridgeline Ladies Monsoon II Classic Jacket
Built for long, hard days in relentlessly wet weather, the Monsoon II Jacket is the perfect choice for working outdoors all year round. Totally waterproof, highly breathable and completely silent, it offers protection, durability and comfort. The 3-layer construction features a brushed polyester outer which is hardwearing, comfortable and silent. It’s the ideal choice for situations where you need your approach to go unnoticed. Offering the characteristic “New Zealand cut”, the Monsoon II Jacket is a full-zip design with the signature scooped back. The rugged, front zip features chunky zip-pullers for ease of use with gloves or mitts. A deep, popper-fastened storm-flap keeps wind and rain where it belongs, on the outside. Hip Zips in the side seams provide the option of increased mobility, perfect for riding or driving a quad bike. The large, zipped chest pocket offers plenty of storage space for work or outdoor essentials. Two zipped lower pockets provide extra capacity and a place to warm your hands on cold mornings. A deep, wired hood features three adjustment points and provides a close-fitting haven in harsh, windy conditions. A tough, adjustable drawcord at the waist fine-tunes the fit and seals in the warmth. The cuffs are wide enough to allow the sleeves to be rolled up in warmer conditions and feature Velcro-adjustments to cinch them tight to your wrists in the very worst weather.

Lovely coat
I really struggled to find reviews on the sizing of these coats as everyone talked only about the quality. It’s true they are very good coats but I disagree about being true to size. I’m a 14 top and bottom but sized up as it’s very fitted in the body. They have a zip either side of the coat which is great as I needed it. I’m 5.2ft and it sits just past my thighs which I like but defiantly needed the extra room for this. Ames are nice a long, if you are on the taller side and they have elastic around the wrist which is great as they are a bit long on me. All in all it’s a fab cost but unless you want fitted I would size up for thicker than a T-shirt underneath.

I ordered a size small, when it arrived it was too big, rang lady said I could return, we were visiting Kendal so went to shop and tried on XS it was a better fit, the service from the ladies in the shop were outstanding, so much so that I purchased another jacket ad so did my husband.

Ridgeline Monsoon classic II
This is a great jacket. It fits large for me, I am normally a 10 but an 8 fits well. Depends on how many layers you want. I love the double zipper, this wasn't on the older models. The jacket has plenty of pockets and is warm as well as waterproof. I'll use it for on the farm and dog walks. The free fleece that came with it is lovely and warm. Size 10 was a good fit for me.
